ORAL PAPER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

Sorry. we are no longer accepting abstracts for this conference..

Oral papers are 20-minute podium presentations followed by questions and discussion.

PowerPoint Presentations: Presenters frequently supplement their presentation with PowerPoint slides or other audio-visual media.

Please bring your presentation on CD-ROM or a USB memory stick.

To ensure that the conference runs smoothly without technical glitches:

  • please load your presentations prior to the start of your session
  • presenters will NOT be allowed to use their personal computer

Audio-Visual Equipment: Each presentation room will be equipped with a computer, LCD projector and large screen. Each podium will be equipped with a wired microphone, remote slide changer and a laser pointer. Additional AV equipment will only be supplied if you e-mail a request to Maureen Helinski Clarke, Program Manager at mhelinski@ucsd.edu before September 1, 2012. There will be an additional charge to you for this service.

Handouts: You may distribute a handout summarizing your oral presentation. However, that is your choice and responsibility. Conference organizers will not duplicate or distribute any handout materials beyond the abstracts that will be printed in the Journal of Cancer Education Supplement.
