Challenging Case Submissions

Our popular session entitled “Cases for the Experts” has been expanded in 2019 to two sessions: the first on Friday, March 9th and the second on Saturday, March 10th.

EXTENDED deadline for submissions: February 22, 2019

The Organizing Committee invites you to submit a challenging case or procedural dilemma for expert panel discussion. The committee will be selecting a handful of submitted cases which will be anonymously presented by Amber P. Sanchez, MD for discussion with our panel of experts including: Jill Adamski, MD, PhD; Rasheed A. Balogun, MBBS, FACP, FASN, HP (ASCP); Nadine M. Benador, MD; Laura Connelly-Smith, MBBCh, DM; Alicia Garcia, RN, HP(ASCP)CM; Jan C. Hofmann, MD, MPH, MSc; Patricia M. Kopko, MD; Isagani I. Marquez, Jr., RN, MSN, QIA; Joseph Schwartz, MD, MPH; David M. Ward, MD, FRCP, HP (ASCP); and Jeffrey L. Winters, MD.

Case Submissions should include the following information:

  • Pertinent Background – Clinical Information
  • Diagnostic Challenges Encountered
  • Therapeutic Challenges Encountered
  • Submitter's email and cell phone number (in case further information is necessary for presentation)
