Topics & Advances in Internal Medicine is a 2-day educational initiative in internal medicine. This conference will allow internal medicine clinicians to become comfortable and proficient with the most recent guidelines and recommendations and the latest clinical trial results presented by local authorities in select fields – nephrology, gastroenterology and rheumatology - within internal medicine. Presentations, lectures, case studies and open Q&A sessions will be presented by leading experts in the field. Attendees will be privy to the latest information, emerging and evolving diagnostic and treatment strategies and how to incorporate these into quality patient care.
The UC San Diego Medical Center is recognized as a leading institution in patient care, and is one of the top teaching hospitals in the country. This conference, taught by leaders in the field, will improve knowledge and proficiency on a variety of topics pertinent to daily clinical practice. This conference is specifically designed to provide in-depth knowledge for primary care and internal medicine physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses and other interested healthcare professionals.
