IMPORTANT UPDATE: THIS MEETING WILL BE VIRTUAL

UC San Diego School of Medicine Continuing Medical Education continues to monitor the growing COVID-19 outbreak in the US and globally each day. Many countries, agencies, and institutions have now banned travel, and many health care practitioners are needed to care for patients with COVID-19 in their own institutions.

Due to increasing concerns that travel to a large group gathering such as this conference is not advisable from a personal and public health perspective, our leadership has come to the decision that the 25th Butters-Kaplan West Coast Neuropsychology Conference will be virtual.

The UC San Diego COVID-19 website is an excellent resource on University policy regarding this rapidly evolving situation, and is updated frequently with the most current information.

Important Details and Action Items

  • This conference has not been canceled, but the meeting will be held virtually. No sessions will take place in San Diego.
  • Please cancel travel and lodging arrangements as soon as possible. If staying at the host hotel, please visit the Location page for contact information.
  • We are working to finalize the delivery of this program via a virtual platform, and we will contact all registered attendees with details in advance of the program start date. You may also return to this page for updated details as they become available.
  • Individuals must be registered for the course in order to participate in the virtual meeting.
  • Registrations are still being accepted

We encourage registrants to join us for the virtual meeting, as we are planning the same quality program you have come to expect from the Butters-Kaplan West Coast Neuropsychology Conference. If you find you are unable to participate, we will honor cancellations according to the cancellation policy through Monday, March 16.  Please note, only registered and paid attendees will be able to participate in the virtual meeting.

We ask for your patience and understanding as we work through the logistical issues in creating a virtual program on short notice. Although we will not meet in person this year, we are looking forward to an engaging and informative program with plenty of interactivity and opportunity to connect with peers and faculty.

We will be in touch with details and instructions on how to access the virtual program as soon as they are finalized.
