2nd Annual UC San Diego Essentials in Apheresis Therapies
February 27 – March 1, 2014 San Diego, California

This 2 ½ day multidisciplinary conference includes topics such as basic principles of apheresis, procedures, prescribing, patient management, and care of specific populations and apheresis service administration. Updates on disease indications will be supplemented by case studies. In-depth reviews by experts will include scientific advances in the understanding of selected diseases and innovations in apheresis techniques.

Recognized leaders from around the country will lead both didactic and interactive discussions and will cover comprehensive reviews of the essentials plus selected advanced topics. Additionally, there will be a unique hands-on opportunity to study various techniques and machines used in therapeutic apheresis.
