The UC San Diego School of Medicine, Department of Urology and the Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego invite you to attend the 9th Annual UC San Diego Urology Postgraduate Course: Clinical Case Discussions in Urology which will be held on March 11-12, 2016 at the Del Mar Marriott and will host a distinguished group of visiting faculty.

This 1.5-day course is designed to offer the participant the most up to date evidence for the management of select urologic conditions. Diagnostic and management tools continue to advance in urology, requiring the practicing clinician to remain current on the most cutting-edge strategies available to improve patient outcomes. This course will utilize a unique didactic approach that encourages conversations between participants and lecturers – a method typically popular given its conversational theme and more effective learning methodology. Participants will be able to submit cases in advance for discussion as well. This focused set of didactic lectures will emphasize the practical evidence-based application of the most recent literature from world-renowned experts in the field.

In addition, we are also providing a hands-on workshop, MRI-Guided Prostate Biopsy, concurrently on the morning of Friday, March 11, 2016. This workshop will present practical approaches to incorporating MRI-guided prostate biopsy into clinical practice.
